TOYOTA MATERIAL HANDLING NEDERLAND, EDE, THE NETHERLANDS
Architect: Rempt van der Donk Architecten │ Client: Bruil Bouw │ Project date: 2013
Weatherproof facade for Toyota's parts warehouse
The building for Toyota Material Handling Nederland is close to the Maanderbroek junction of the A12 motorway. We provided a facade of MD Expanded metal made of corten steel that acts as the skin of the building. This facade is attached to the building's simple architectural facade, with a 60 centimeter gap.
There is a large window in the corten steel facade that provides a sneak peek into the organization. In total, we applied 2700 square meters of MD Expanded metal, and we provided the auxiliary construction and running grids.
