Ceilings, patios and facades

Metadecor is responsible for the complete facade cladding of the new building. The concrete ceilings are insulated with 140 mm thick hard foam with an aluminum coating, which results in an RD value of 6.35 m² K/W. The seams and fastenings are sealed with aluminum tape and acoustic insulation made of polyester wool with a thickness of 15 mm and fire class B and drip class D0 is applied to the ceiling.

The facade panels are mounted using the MD Mezzo auxiliary construction system, provided with 1-layer powder coating 80 µm in RAL 7021 - Black-gray. This auxiliary construction is adjustable to accommodate any irregularities in the building construction, and Schock IsoTherm is used to minimize thermal bridges.

Insulation

The facades are insulated with mineral wool, also known as glass wool, with a thickness of 180 mm and an RD value of 5.60 m² K/W. This is done with insulation plugs on the concrete shell. A water-repellent layer with UV-resistant facade foil is applied over the insulation. Preserved wooden profiles are integrated into the insulation for the attachment of the MD Mezzo mounting system to minimize thermal bridges.

MD Design perforation panels

Both the ceilings and the facades are covered with MD Design perforation of the types MD DE110 and MD DE130. These panels are made of 3 mm thick aluminum and have all-round mounting for extra strength and partially concealed mounting. The panels have a T-pitch perforation with approximately 1,800 holes per square meter and are anodized with a surface area of ​​20 mμ. The color AluBronze 03 is used for the facade and ceiling panels on the ground floor, and the color AluGold 02 is used for the Loggia wall and ceiling panels. The facade surface contains an abstract representation of a cloud pattern.

We work with flashings for wall coverings, water hammers, eaves and reveals. These types are made of high-quality aluminum AW5005 of 2/3 mm thickness and are suitable for anodization. We ensure the necessary settlements in the material and apply an anodizing layer of 20 µm in the standard anodizing color. We also supply these mountings complete with clips and fasteners made of stainless steel (SS) A2 in a matching color. The result is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
